Skiing from 1100 to 2500 metres, the resort is normally open from the week before Christmas to the end of April.

Merdassier,  (part of Manigod) is a satellite of La Clusaz, 5 miles up the mountain, at 1500 metres altitude.
It benefits from direct links to the La Clusaz ski circuit, and skiing to and from the front door.
This is the place to be if you have a group or family of different abilities.

Ski Lesson Prices Alpine & Telemark. All ski lessons are charged at €40 per hour, ie 1 on 1 private lesson €40/hr group of 4 = €10/hr each. Max group of 6.

Pete has been skiing for over 30 years, and living during the winter seasons in Merdassier on the La Clusaz ski circuit for the last 12 seasons.  Taking the BASI (British Association of Snowsports Instructors) instructors qualification 3 years ago.  He specialises in both Alpine and Telemark instruction to clients who prefer English first language instructors. His lessons are tailored for beginners to intermediate skiers. In order to enable you to get the best from your lesson, Pete will adapt his approach to teaching to meet your personality, whether its to build your confidence on slopes within your comfort zone, or improving your technique in achieving those perfect turns on steeper terrain. Of if you are a complete beginner, Pete will take you through the basics and get you sliding around and enjoying your first time on skis. If its skiing in La Clusaz you want, you've come to the right place. Here you'll find information on snow conditions, transferring to the resort, accommodation, and a piste map. And if you're interested in telemark skiing, click on the telemark page. The skiing season in La Clusaz is usually from the week before Christmas until the end of April. (dependant upon snow conditions). There is a good variety of runs from beginner slopes right through to black runs and off piste areas. The skiing is linked over 4 mountains, Beauregarde, L'Etale, Aguille, and La Balme.

Transfers from GVA to La Clusaz village €120, 08:00-18:00, for up to 4 people.

Transfers Geneva Airport to La Clusaz. Just over 1 hour. We'll get you there with our 4 wheel drive Land Rover. Just a few notes on Merdassier and Manigod.
Manigod is a village just like La Clusaz (though smaller), and although you can't ski to or from Manigod,
it has two ski stations, Merdassier (or domaine de L'Etale) and Col de la Croix Fry.
Merdassier is a sympathetically purpose built station, at an altitude of 1500 metres, and is on the La Clusaz ski circuit.
Mainly self catering appartements, with shops, restaurants, and a few hotels, Merdassier benefits from being on the piste,
with skiing to and from your front door. Pistes range from nursery slopes to a Black run, off piste and powder when appropriate,
